Make a Donation:
Portland Mountain Rescue is a non-profit, all volunteer organization
that is funded entirely through individual donations, grants and other
fundraising methods. None of our members are compensated for their
work and we do not receive funding from the government.

Our Needs:
Our funding needs fall into three categories: operating expenses,
field equipment and educational resources. PMR maintains an
operations vehicle, utilizes specialized mountain rescue equipment
and performs a number of valuable community services free-of-charge.
Though all members must have their own basic mountaineering and
climbing equipment, the PMR-owned technical equipment is often quite
expensive to purchase and maintain.
Though we occasionally accept donations in the form of goods or
services, our main need is cash to fund ongoing operations.
