Portland Mountain Rescue received a generous donation from a private foundation organized to support the efforts surrounding the three Mt. Hood climbers who perished in December 2006.  PMR was one of many groups involved in the mission to receive a donation from the foundation and wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the foundation, and the family and friends of the three climbers.  The donated funds will further support the pursuit of PMR's mission to save lives through rescue and mountain safety education.  Please refer to the following link for additional information:
